Interleaved stream for XStreams

Frank Shearar-3
Hi Nicolas,

https://code.google.com/p/xtreams/issues/detail?id=3 has a reference
to an interleaved stream - shall I just send a new mcz with the change
your way?

Hi Frank,
I'm not sure to understand exactly what you want...
- integrate those extensions into an existing package?
- create a new package containing extensions?
- discuss about those options?
IMHO, the first option must be discussed with original authors, Martin and Michael. Or did integration already happened in VW branch?
The second option must be discussed with the rest of the community.

Hi Nicolas,

Martin's already expressed the desire for ports to not be held up in
their evolution, and we're fine-tuning the new stream's
implementation.

I suppose I'm asking: how would you like to consume these changes? The
stream's generally useful, so _I_ think it should just go in
Xtreams-Transforms. But that's just me :)

Re: Interleaved stream for XStreams

Hi Nicolas,

So apparently I have commit rights to the Xtreams repository! I took
advantage of that, and it now has the latest iteration of
XTInterleavedReadStream, having been beaten into much better shape by
Martin Kobetic's keen comments.
