Is there a DICOM image reader in Smalltalk?

DICOM or DCM images are widely used in medical imaging. Is there a Smalltalk image reader for that format?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Askoh,

None that I am aware of. You can, however, use graphicsmagik or imagemagik via a command line to convert DICOM in to PNG, JPG, BMP or some other format that you can work with in the image and then later transform back in to DICOM.

Cheers,
Michael

Nowak, Helge
If I remember correctly for a project in Germany or Austria DICOM support had been implemented. I hope one of the developers is reading this and responds...
