Yes. I've seen a latency indicator in midi setup in os x,
so I believe you from personal experience
but I might have found someone to jam with
who knows about the project JamTomorrow ...
If he wants to play with me, we'll see how bad it is.
I did sing with someone on a cell phone, but it had few
nodes to jump across, it was all in my city.
I saw conferences that had latency in demoing stuff.
The 2nd life thing seems you stream the audio to one guy
he gets the whole musical piece to filter with his brain's
acausal filter (he gets hindsight) and
then he adds his stuff on.
I am curious about simultaneous jamming in any venue.
How much can I jam? How can I find people who want to jam?
Different groups, maybe even cultures,
have different attitudes about improvisation
at the same time.
Some people religiously believe in latency in my head.
That is scary to me, since I train to not have this.
