It may be the other way around -- that you need an older version of
Croquet. It looks like JamTomorrow-ft.39 is pretty old -- January
2006. There have been changes to, e.g., Croquet's Monticello package
loader since then.
Maybe try contacting the authors of JamTomorrow?
