Hi Bert,
The attached draft of a project (which a teacher asked me to create for his students), has a problem/bug?
When I put the numerical value of a variable into a text object, it rounds the value to the nearest 2 decimal digit. Do I have any control of it?

Yes. Use the menu left of the "outputCar's numeric value" tile in its viewer:

Also, *please* ask this kind of question on the mailing list. Everyone can learn from it.

Noted for Etoys Reference Manual. We cover a fair amount of this sort of
thing already, but I believe that there is significantly more to do in
matters such as locating and documenting menus.

I, as a dedicated button pusher and lever puller with plenty of time to
explore, had no trouble finding the information out for myself about
setting the number of decimal places to display for numbers. I recognize
that others will need well-thought-out-and-tested hints at a minimum, and
outright explanations in many cases.

Yes, it can be frustrating to hunt for solutions many times.

User testing/feedback is needed to bring attention to stumble blocks
or stuff that need documentation .
