I don't know how many Ubuntu users are around the world, but in Extremadura (Spain) there are more than 100.000 debian sarge pc , 80.000 of them in schools and would be great to have the chance to take a look to Plop. It's just a question of recompiling the same sources... Regards. José L. P.S. If you recompile it you can remove the postrm, preinst and prerm scripts that the package includes as they are useless.. |
Just forget my previous email. I've started it smoothly with the
squeak-vm we have in linex. It works great. I will test it tomorrow with my kids, but from the point of view of a father it looks fantastic. Now, I have a couple of questions: - Under what license will it be redistributed in linux? - Any plan to translate the voices into spanish (we can do that, but It would be stupid if you are already doing it or have other plans). I haven't found any text (what is great), so it seems that only the voices need to be translated. In that case it could be really fast Congrats.
