I should have known that :-)

I've never seen that term used anywhere - does it work the same on
Windows and Unix?

Yes. You might have seen the term "Ctrl-Menu", and it is quite  
specific to Morphic.

Thanks Bert, knowing what to call it helped. That got me to
Morph>>invokeMetaMenu: which opened it all up for me.
