Serial number alleged to be invalid after "repairing" 4.0 installation

Don Rylander
I installed Dolphin 4 successfully last week and played around with it a bit,
but when the patched version came out, I thought I'd just download it and use
the MSI repair feature. Unfortunately, it required me to re-enter all my
license numbers, then gave me a message telling me that my serial number was
not valid (a message box saying "Sorry, but <serial number> is an invalid
serial number." The serial number itself was cut and pasted from the e-mail I
received from DigiBuy. I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling 4.0,
all to no avail. Any ideas?

You should receive an e-mail shortly that addresses this problem. Let us
know if you don't have it within the hour.

Aha!  So the security breach (referred to in earlier posts) required that we
all get new keys (this from an OA support e-mail I just received).  OK, then.
Never mind.
