Set transparent color.

Blake-5
Hey, Squeaklanders--

I've got graphics from an external source that I'm importing into Etoys.
However, they have a white background which is coming through rather than
being treated as transparent. I've resolved this by saving them as GIFs
and setting the transparent color. But it'd be cool to be able to fix that
inside of Squeak.

        So...is it?<s>

Re: Set transparent color.

Hi, Blake,

Yes, there *is* such a feature within Squeak:

From the halo menu of a SketchMorph, look for the "painting" item at
the very bottom of the menu.  In the "painting" submenu, choose
"erase pixels of color".  Then, when the cursor changes to an
eyedropper, click on the color you wish to erase.  Simple as that!

Cheers,
