This is a general reply to the question of the "killer demo" for Amber - rather than go for a demo, i think Amber is ideal for ÐApps (decentralized applications). To me the most obvious ground floor to get in on is the ethereum project, which DOES NOT YET have the front end, and large portions of the backend are non-existent or highly experimental. I've seen parts written in Go and Lisp, and to be blunt, they don't compare in elegance to that possible with ST and don't have a real-time debugger, which i think is important to make trustable code in less time. Amber already has all the CSS and Ajax magic needed for the ethereum/web3.0 browser. The ethereum project is important and is attracting some of the best minds and investment. I think Amber fits the bill for showing off ST, and more importantly, could go mainstream as the platform of choice in the crypto p2p world. I am specifically concentrating on Amber ST for this purpose, though i have a long way to go before i can contribute code. I hope this interests some of you smart people.

I forgot to mention one more thing: i am following Moose Dev - most of it is over my head but it looks ideal for quickly and relibably converting other code into ST.
