May be is not the time to say this, but not seems a good idea to have
all the responsability of elections in a single person. We kinda do have a team but some of us are not participating on all
cylinders. Ok well, no cylinders. In overall, I thought Göran did an excellent job and he promptly addressed all issues. We're all awaiting results but maybe few hours closing the poll and publish them isn't a big deal... Sorry for the delay, I am going north tomorrow with my family and well, lots of stuff to take care of and didn't make it home until an hour ago or so. regards, Göran |

And again, sorry for the slight delay in closing it. But perhaps you Ron or someone could take the time to "evaluate" our whole process and come up with ideas for improvement. One obvious improvement would be a better way to maintain the voter list. Previous years I did lots of "tricks" to gather voters - like automatically extracting voters from SqueakMap etc. I didn't do stuff like that this year. regards, Göran |
