Squeak as win32 shell?

Schwab,Wilhelm K
Hello all,

Are any of you aware of successful use of Squeak as a win32 shell
replacement?  My goal is to create a replacement shell that will run for
specific accounts, and to leave the default Windows shell in place for
admin duties, and just in case =:0  I have tried LiteStep and Geo (which
I suspect might have fried an account on an XP machine - not sure
though); they both do too much.  My goal is to offer users only specific
capabilities, which I am willing to enumerate.  Talisman appears to be a
reasonable choice, but it occured to me that Squeak might be a really
nice way to do this, **IF** I can get it to serve as the desktop or
otherwise act as an idiot-proof launcher for other programs.

Any ideas?

Bill
