Hi!
I found very nice icons at http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/2170, that I would like to use in my Enlightenment environment under Linux. The problem is, that the icons are available only in icns format (I can't tell you how much I "like" Apple having different formats for everything :-( ). Can anyone transform those icons for me in a friendly png with the background being transparent or just point out a good convert program? Unfortunately I did not find any convert program from icns to png. Tnx, Elod |
The obvious search comes up with at least a dozen choices:

Yes Andreas, I know Google, and you can bet I tried to find a convert
program before I wrote to the list. The only thing I found was http://www.google.com/search?q=icns+png+converter with a .lha file (I don't know what to do with that one) and a incs2png program at a KDE related site, that points to a download location at www.bearca.com (see above link), that does not work :-). Well, if you know Google, then put it to use! http://www.google.com/search?q=lha+linux At which point the question about what to do with LHA becomes fairly obvious (hint: 1st hit is a decompression program ;-) Cheers, - Andreas > > Elod >> The obvious search comes up with at least a dozen choices: >> >> http://www.google.com/search?q=icns+png+converter >> >> Elod Kironsky wrote: >>> Hi! >>> >>> I found very nice icons at http://wiki.squeak.org/squeak/2170, that I >>> would like to use in my >>> Enlightenment environment under Linux. Tnx, I just got all the icons converted by Martial Boniou. I put them here:
www.fit.vutbr.cz/~kironsky/download/SqueakIconsPNG.tar.bz2 Grab them if you want.
