I'm using 3.9-final-7067 image. Without DejaVu fonts GUI works much
better, but it still seems to be very heavy for my machine (for
example, scrolling of the "Changes that have been done in 3.9" window
gives 100% CPU load).

Thanks,
Aleksandr

P.S. Sorry, if I've duplicated this message, but it seems that my
previous post was deleted, for I was not registered.

I see it reach 100% now and then but more often it's in the 75% range.
<shrug/>  Anyway, I don't think it matters for your purpose, which I
seem to remember is trying Squeak.  If I were you, I'd write some code
to see what I could make it do.  For me, it does a lot.

Cheers,
Steve

They were not deleted, but held for moderation. I've deleted them now,
since you've subscribed to the list and sent them again.
