Syntax Error while installing Squeak-Dev image from package universe

Andreas Wacknitz
When I try to install the Squeak-Dev image version 0.126 in a fresh
squeak3.10beta-7130 image I get a Syntax Error in Installer>>mcInstall:
Installer version is 1.0.122. Is this a known problem?

Dear Andreas,

yes it was a known problem and Installer in squeaksource had been fixed.
I have now updated the 'development' universe to use the latest version
which at the time of writing is Installer-Core-kph.126

I have worked out what is going on. The new version of installer defines
an instvar 'file' which methods in your old version are using as a
blockTemp. This causes an error on loading, even though those methods
are going to be removed as part of the new package.

Hopefully the latest version works arround this. Installer-Core-kph.127.mcz

Sorry Keith,

Installer 1.0.127 still raises a Syntax Error during installation.
