The PR Team

Chris Cunnington-5
Hi All,

I'm happy to announce that the Squeak board has approved the creation of a
public relations team. The aim of the PR Team is twofold: craft the message
of the Squeak community with the participation of the Squeak community; and,
develop a list of tools and relationships for the dissemination of that
message. The release of a new virtual machine and a change in the license
are topics that come to mind for announcements.

Anybody and everybody is encouraged to join the PR Team or to contribute
comments and ideas pertaining to the PR Team. The members at present are
myself, Brad Fuller, and Will Harford.

The first objectives of the PR Team are:

1. Find how to get a message board of our own.

2. Develop a list of actions to execute when Squeak 3.10 is released.

3. Develop a list of actions for the Smalltalk Solutions conference.

I think this is going to be fun,

Chris Cunnington
Toronto

Have asked the box admins for a mailing list? Since part of your work
may need coordination with the news team, I would subscribe to such a
list.
