Unix X11 event handling little cleanup

 
Hi!

I'm working on cog (the version I got from the git repository), playing to get support to the entire keyboard in the image (in Unix this time).

I've realized that there is some deprecated/unused code with #if 0 or commented code that is no longer used...  So, I removed it from my sources, but I'd like someone to give them a look to see if they can be integrated.
