People:
This "Bar" welcome Hannes and now some of you could practice your English and exchange ideas in international way. As several here was also in Cuis list, maybe we should re think some ideas. Yesterday I have a chat with Mariano Badoglio in UTN FRRO (he start to investigate about VM building, bravo Mariano) And comes again the Minimal Image discussion He ask about Pharo 4.0 and say something about the subject talking about a 4 mb .image which he don't know how run as do not have a UI. Re visiting the site of our "cousins" Pharoers, the thing in question is the last incarnation of Pavel Krivanek works. Weight 6.2 mb and still I do nothing with it Again a resume of my view Pharo have the more complete enviroment and lots of people working on it, but change too much from version to version. Squeak lost his way, nobody knows where go Cuis is Smalltalk made right, but lacks backward compatibility My forks of reduced Cuis required too much work to port Squeak/Pharo packages and when the port is possible the resulting .image is "dirty" (lots of Undeclared). I do not put any of this in public So the current Web 2.0 experiments "Divagaciones" runs on my SqueakRosCore fork www.squeakros.org re direct to my "OldWarrior" a "powerful" G4 of 1990. The software is a combination of blog/wiki with several external CSS,JS and none of Node,js or npm or Bower eco system. Could run in Cuis derivated also, but again, the image is "dirty" For now is Kom + HV2. Still seeing GreenNeon and Illiad as modern replace to HV2. As Juan wisely advise about HTML5 Canvas, I say you must read HTML5 Canvas book of Fulton and Fulton published by O Reilly Again Hannes, Welkome Edgar @morplenauta en twitter |
Gracias, Edgar, por la bienvenida. Puedo leer Castellan.
Saludos --Hannes |
