I ususally do something like this:
(((FileStream readOnlyFileNamed: 'file.csv')
contentsOfEntireFile " read and close "
findTokens: String crlf) " split into lines "
reject: [:e | e isEmpty]) " lose empty lines "
collect: [:e | e findTokens: $,] " split into fields "
