What's left todo - maybe a voting round?

Cees De Groot
Hi,

I still have this little SqP-based app where you can create wishes and
vote on wishes (everyone has a fixed amount of votes, based on
SqP-ranking).

I would need to look at it for an hour or so to make the model
persistent, but would it be an idea to announce a voting round based
on this tool? Non-binding advice to the 3.9a team what the remaining
issues are that the community would like to see done before going to
beta?

Regards,

Cees
(all but done with notebook restoration so hopefully with Mantis fixed
I can start harvesting network+files bugs...)

sure, lets see what is on people's wish list.

If you look for items for it, I really like to see the "slow redraw"
bug fixed now (as mentioned earlier already). It's painful and it has
been around at least since 3.7.

I agree with Avi saying "It's probably my number one frustration when
developing in Squeak these days." (http://lists.squeakfoundation.org/

Adrian

BTW, I could not find a Mantis report. Did I miss it or should I
create one?

Indeed I will issue a call.
I harvested the fixes of adrian (now with the old tool set you do not
see traits
if you do not use them, excellent), the fixes for VMMaker.

I will have a look at the services that romain just sent to me.
