Hi
apparently in 3.9-7000 we have some problems with the iconic button and flaps. So we can either roll-back or fix it. Let us know what you prefer. Hi guys,
I'm repeating this from the other thread... I will new versions of the packages later today. I will take again a fresh 6729 image and repeat the process, but instead of trusting the versions of my packages loaded in there, I will load them from the 3.9a repository. Why? Because on a fresh 6729 image, if I save locally Etoys, I get a 611 Kb file, while the one in the 3.9a repository is 625. So there we seem to have the problem. Please tell me if this sounds ok to you. I did the following:
-> loaded etoy-md-6 -> saved it as md-7 It seems that this fixed the problem... I'm ready to publish new versions. (Based on reloading etoys-md.6 and the
others from the 3.9a repository, so I did the same as you). The same error could have happened e.g. with Moric-Extras, so it's best to get new packages from you. Hi Marcus,
I've just uploaded new versions, but they have the same problem as before. I must be doing something wrong. Please don't load them. I'll try again at noon here (in about 3 or 4 hours). I apologize for the delays. So until that's different, you can't save a working eToy package The other problem (for me and stef): It's not possible to load a package over the faulty one, as, somehow, MC just merges the old deletions and we then have the old problem. So as soon as we have the correct packages, we should re-do 7000 to fix the problem. (This is all so badly complex... we need to improve the tools!) > I apologize for the delays. > No problem! Hi Marcus,

I thought that not saving the Kernel package was enough. I was wrong. I corrected this, removing the class reorganizations. I'm ready to save the packages, but now I can not connect to http://source.squeakfoundation.org/inbox/ . It says: "Bad Gateway The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server." Does anybody know what could be happening here? > The other problem (for me and stef): It's not possible to load a package > over the faulty one, as, somehow, MC just merges the old deletions and we > then > have the old problem. Hi Marcus,
I saved again the packages in inbox. Hopefully everything works ok now. Thanks for your patience.
