mac carbon vm 3.8.18b1 and how big?

If someone could take the 3.8.18b1 mac carbon vm and see how big you  
can make the squeak vm memory allocation
that would be useful to know since I think people running servers  
want to know that value for 32bit based images.

Also I'd be curious if a 32bit image on a 64bit VM can actually be  
4GB in size?
