old 3.8 mantis entries

What do we do of entries like http://bugs.squeak.org/view.php?id=2908
The issue has been solved in 3.9
Shouldn't it be marked as resolved then closed (I do not have the
rights to do it) ?
Or do we expect a backport (updateStream) in 3.8 ?
