I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but I'd say that you should
commit the packages, then update and commit the configuration, then
send mail to the list in case I missed it ...
If you want it to be available right now, then go ahead and commit as
1.0-beta.27.6 and then I'll merge into 1.0-beta.28 (after I see your
mail)...
