We are happy to announce that AIDA/Web Smalltalk web application server
version 6.0 and AIDA/Scribo CMS 1.0 are ready for beta testing on Squeak.

Aida/Web is a Smalltalk web framework for the component based
development of complex web applications. Aida is a mature and proven
framework, yet on pair with other modern web frameworks. Aida main
characteristics are REST-like, nice and bookmarkable Urls, strong
internationalization, seamless integration of Ajax, integrated security
with user/group/role management, low memory footprint, ability to serve
many web applications and web sites from the same Smalltalk image,
reliable serving (with help of Swazoo Smalltalk web server) directly to

This version is also the base for AIDA/Scribo, a powerful CMS (Content
Management System), with several plugins: wiki, website, forum, blog.
