[squeak-dev] External calls - was The "correct" approach to multi-core systems.

Hello all,

This discussion reminds me of something: Dolphin's overlapped call
mechanism, which causes the VM to make a so-marked external call on a
separate OS thread, blocking only the calling Smalltalk Process.  Does
Squeak provide anything like this?  It has limitations, but has been
very helpful, at least on Windows.
