squeak.saltypicle.com is down and so GraphViz is unavailable on the Universes and SqueakMap. I'm updating Exupery pre-release and use it for graph layout in some custom inspectors. If John's not interested in maintaining it, I could create a project on SqueakSource and update the universes entry. Bryce |
Hi Bryce,
I brought squeak.saltypickle.com back online. I'm not able to maintain any Squeak packages right now on that site as my career has taken a different direction right now, and I'm not afforded much time for coding these days. I hope to be back some day as I've got so many things I want to do. Feel free to take anything on my site and change it, move it to a new SqueakSource repository, or whatever suits your fancy. Thanks to John Pierce for doing the GraphViz package and to Bryce for showing an interest in it. Barring any objections from John, yes please do put it up on SqueakSource. Dave |
No objections from me.

I think John might be on vacation right now; I talked to him maybe two weeks ago.
He has been VERY busy lately at work, lamenting the fact that he just doesn't have much time for things like Squeak right now! At any rate, I forwarded this on to him, but I doubt he will mind...he is a big fan of the Squeak community, and has helped me learn quite a bit... Rob On Wed, Apr 23, 2008 at 4:35 AM, Edgar J. Thanks, I was afraid that you'd lost the domain and the links were dead. As they're now good there's no immediate reason to move. GraphViz has been a very useful package. I just wanted to make sure that it didn't get orphaned. Is it possible to restore the front page to squeak.saltypickle.com easily? It's still redirecting to http://www.meta-center.com/ but the GraphViz pages are back. If it's not easy don't bother about it, it would just be nice to see what's there. Bryce |
