I think this is not a windows issue.
Hey we have 2009 and typically people want to use stuff and not wasting time again and
again with low level details. Digging in the low level code or compiling code (if available)
is good, but should not be the default.

>These DLLs, I can send it to you.

Wouldnt it be good to upload the DLLs to the swiki (if license permits)
or make them available on a web site so others can benefit?

Best would be to have a separate installer package like FreeType provides (Libs/DLL's packaged
as a SAR for the platforms, see:
http://map.squeak.org/package/a06d65b9-6e25-48f0-8966-0d28c2c8ee05/autoversion/3
for an example)

However - keep up with your work. It looks promising...

Totally agree with you. Sorry not to have it easier in this case. We will do as far as we can for this.

Yes, binary files for linux are actually hosted in openDBX webpage. I can upload to swiki also. No problem at all. But they are uploaded because they are know to work well. We didn't have the chance to test dlls in other pc. If someone (or us) test them and we found they work, we will upload them for sure (indeed, openDBX author ask us for ddls).

I haven't no idea about that, but looks nice. Thanks for the idea and the help. We will look at it and see if can help us.

thanks!
