It seems this spammer actually signed up or more likely stumbled onto
the email address of a valid list member.  I'll look into it a bit.  I
hope this is not a sign of things to come.

In short, this person actually subscribed and immediately (6 minutes
later) started sending spam.  At least I hope this was a person and not
a bot.  Note that the email did indeed go through Google.
