I am unable to reproduce this problem.

I have ConfigurationOfMoose-AlexandreBergel.179 and  
ConfigurationOfRPackage-StephaneDucasse.8 loaded in my image and:

   MetacelloToolBox validateConfiguration: ConfigurationOfMoose

returns an empty collection...
