Well, the sound and the general layout of the propulsion system remind
me of the ultralight that I used to fly in the 1980s. Mine is still in
the garage, but here's one one a museum:

So now I'm trying to figure out how many leaf blowers it will take to
get airborne. Tim, I seem to recall from your web site that you tinker
with model aircraft. Maybe I'm getting conservative in my old age, but
a small unmanned version would seem a prudent first step. If a leaf-blower
jet bicycle is not enough to annoy all of the neighbors, a flying model
that buzzes over the rooftops is sure to do the trick. What do you
think?
