turn a pen trail into an object?

Antonio Barros
Folks,

Sorry if this question was already answered here.
Is it possible to turn a pen trail (a square or a spiral for example)
into a object ready to use?
Thanks in advance.

Antonio Barros

Yes. See "pen trails" category in Playfield (World) viewer. The watcher menu
for "pen trail graphic" has a "hand me a picture of pen trail" command button
that will converts pen trails into a sketch.

You can also use the Lasso tool from Object Catalog->Graphics to cut out the
interesting parts of a trail into a Sketch and then erase the background.

Markus and Subbu,

Thank you guys for the quick answers.
I have seen that Sun Labs Lively Kernel <http://research.sun.com/projects/lively/> implements that kind of behavior and I was curiuos about Etoys.

Cheers
